FINAL ASSIGNMENT TYPOGRAPHY






































lolita is a film in 1962 directed by Standly Kubrick.this movie  about a middle-aged man who becomes obsessed with a teenage girl.The film stars James Mason as Humbert Humbert, Sue lyon as Dolores Haze (Lolita), and Shelley Winters as Charlotte Haze, with Peter Sallers as Clare Quilty.Humbert Humbert, a divorced British professor of French literature, travels to small-town America for a teaching position. He allows himself to be swept into a relationship with Charlotte Haze, his widowed and sexually famished landlady, whom he marries in order that he might pursue the woman's 14-year-old flirtatious daughter, Lolita, with whom he has fallen hopelessly in love, but whose affections shall be thwarted by a devious trickster named Clare Quilty.\
  • Explain what do you think about the existing movie posters.
in my opinion the existing movie poster look simple and seductive.
  • Explain the treatment (pop art,classic,futuristic,minimalism, your choice of colors) you use for the new posters that you have revamp.
in this poster i used pop art background because i want this poster look vintage and suitable for the movie era.i chose red colors because it is very striking.i use a pink colors for the lips because its more girly.the black colors mean mistirious suitable for the lolita role.
  • Explain why you choose the typeface?
i choose the silent typeface because it express the cheeky and fun lolita character.
  • What other typeface that can suit the poster?
Birch std typeface is also suitable because it look simple and neat.
  • How is it different from the existing poster?
it different from the existing poster because it look more simple and look more girly.
