Step Up 3D(also known as step up 3) is a 2010 American 3D dance film.The sequel sees the return of Adam Sevani and Alyson Stoner,who portrayed Moose from Step Up 2: The Streets and Camille Gage from Step Up.As the third installment in the Step Up trilogy and the first shot in 3D, the film follows Moose and Camille Gage as they head to New York University, the former dancer of whom is majoring in electrical engineering after promising his father that he would not dance anymore. However, he soon stumbles upon a dance battle, meeting Luke Katcher and his House of Pirates dance crew and later teaming up with them to compete in the World Jam dance contest against their rival, the House of Samurai dance crew.

  • Explain what do you think about the existing movie posters.
in my opinion the existing poster look complicated because it use a lot of layer.


  • Explain the treatment (pop art,classic,futuristic,minimalism, your choice of colors) you use for the new posters that you have revamp
i chose blue  color because blue is a cool and calming.i want to show the dancers in this movie always look cool when they dance.i chose yellow because yellow is a happy and cheerful colors.in this movie the dancers always happy when they dancing and they also communicate when they are  dance.


  • Explain why you choose the typeface
i used the albertus typeface(serif)because it show neatness and easy to read.
  • What other typeface that can suit the poster?
arial,because arial typeface also easy to read
  • How is it different from the existing poster?
it is very different from the existing poster because it just nice and simple.the figure of the woman and man show they are dancing.i arranged it like this because it is suitable with the story line.i make so that people can easily understand the poster is about the movie

lolita is a film in 1962 directed by Standly Kubrick.this movie  about a middle-aged man who becomes obsessed with a teenage girl.The film stars James Mason as Humbert Humbert, Sue lyon as Dolores Haze (Lolita), and Shelley Winters as Charlotte Haze, with Peter Sallers as Clare Quilty.Humbert Humbert, a divorced British professor of French literature, travels to small-town America for a teaching position. He allows himself to be swept into a relationship with Charlotte Haze, his widowed and sexually famished landlady, whom he marries in order that he might pursue the woman's 14-year-old flirtatious daughter, Lolita, with whom he has fallen hopelessly in love, but whose affections shall be thwarted by a devious trickster named Clare Quilty.\
  • Explain what do you think about the existing movie posters.
in my opinion the existing movie poster look simple and seductive.
  • Explain the treatment (pop art,classic,futuristic,minimalism, your choice of colors) you use for the new posters that you have revamp.
in this poster i used pop art background because i want this poster look vintage and suitable for the movie era.i chose red colors because it is very striking.i use a pink colors for the lips because its more girly.the black colors mean mistirious suitable for the lolita role.

i choose the silent typeface because it express the cheeky and fun lolita character.
  • What other typeface that can suit the poster?
Birch std typeface is also suitable because it look simple and neat.
  • How is it different from the existing poster?
it different from the existing poster because it look more simple and look more girly.
